As of 9/12/2013 whale watching conditions are excellent - weather is great and the bay is full of whales, with many of them just outside Moss Landing harbor, within very easy reach of the always excellent Blue Ocean Whale Watch folks.

"Dolly", the 2 year old California condor ambassador from the LA Zoo was the star of a great "Feathers in Flight" Ventana Wildlife Society benefit event in Big Sur, CA.
